What We Do

Here at NRCC, We enjoy a range of activities that foster teamwork, good sportsmanship, and a sense of community. We create a safe and secure environment where everyone feels included and valued for their unique contributions and perspectives.

Swimming Classes

Thousands of Children and adults have learned swimming in what was once New Orleans' first indoor swimming pool. Many of our children have become Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors.

Arts and Crafts

Our Arts and Crafts offer a range of creative design techniques to keep children engaged and inspired while fostering their imagination and skills. We offer drama and dance which gives the children the opportunity to express themselves artistically and boost their confidence.

Basketball Camp

Our Gymnasium is open to the youth for a range of indoor sports including vollyball and basketball. Participants can enhance their skills while enjoying a fun and supportive environment.

AfterSchool Care

Our aftercare program provides a safe and enriching environment where children can participate in various activities until their parents arrive. Finishing homework and providing snacks are among the top priorities, ensuring that children are well-fed and productive.

Summer Camp

The 8 Week Summer camp provides kids with a safe and fun summer experience filled with various activities like sports, arts, and outdoor adventures.

Reading and Literacy program

Our Reading program focuses on keeping children interested in reading and writing with engaging activities that ignite their imagination and foster a lifelong love for literature.
